The class is Math 131 (ID 000715), Calculus 1.
Taught by Thomas Henry at South Central College, this is one the more useful math classes around, plus, due to his textbook choice, and the class being at South Central, it is also quite cheaper than a similar class at Mankato State.
Runs M-F, 10:00-10:50 am, 8/25-12/19.

Description: This course introduces the key concepts of the derivative and the integral. Beginning with the definition of limit, the notion of continuity is developed which is perhaps the most important thread running throughout the calculus. This leads naturally to the process of differentiation and then integration, concluding with the all important Fundamental Theorem of the Calculus. Along the way, applications to classical and modern science, economics, the social sciences and other fields are explored. (Prerequisites: Three years of high school mathematics including trigonometry, or MATH 120 and MATH 125, or MATH 130 with a grade of C or better, and a score of 86 or higher on the College Level Mathematics portion of the Accuplacer test) (MNTC 4: Mathematical/Logical Reasoning)
